Policy Changes

Please see the following policy changes below:

  • No Chewing Gum.  In order to protect our campus, building and furniture, we are prohibiting gum on the school campus.  Students will not be allowed to chew gum on campus.
  • Cell Phones are to be Stored in Students’ Lockers.  First, students are responsible and liable for the devices that they bring to school.  If students choose to bring smart phones, tablets, etc., students must store them in their lockers.  Students are to ONLY have them out if a teacher allows students to use them in instruction during a specific class period.  In these instances, students can retrieve their smart device for that class (and that class only) and then return their smart device to their lockers at the end of that class.  Students are not to have their phones out in the hallways or cafeteria.  We have increased our technological arsenal at the school so it is not necessary for students to bring personal devices.  We want to help our students focus on instruction and school activities.  If parents need to get in touch with their sons/daughters, they can call the office at (859) 625-6172.

Focus Enrichment Classes ARE NOT electives that students can sign up for.  Students were specifically placed in these classes.  At this time the ONLY classes we have that students can sign up for are Band and Chorus.  We will add Spanish at some point. That will be communicated to students when we begin.

Parent Portal

If you have already set up your parent portal account, you will use the same username and password to access it again this year!  If you have never set up your account, please come into the school (starting August 17th) with a photo id to pick up your information.  This is a great parent tool to keep track of grades, assignments and attendance!

Once you create your account using a desktop computer, you can download the app to your smartphone and access is at the touch of your fingertips!  The district id code is YPZMRR.  You will need this code with your username and password.
