My School: Madison Middle

On Tuesday mornings in the Madison Middle library something unique is taking place. Listen closely. You may hear things like, ¿Cómo va la clase de matemáticas? (How is math class going?) or ¿Cuál es tu favorito después de la actividad escolar? (What is your favorite after school activity?). This is all part of a new partnership with the AP Spanish class at Madison Central High School. MMS students, whose native language is Spanish, are meeting each week with members of Paula Adkins’ AP class to improve their conversational English skills and receive mentoring and support from these high school students.
