Introduction:
You are Little Drop, a young drop of water living in a beautiful clear lake on a mountain. You have overheard some of the older drops talking about going on a trip through the water cycle. The water cycle?!
You vaguely remember learning something about that in school, but you just cant seem to picture it in your mind! So nervously you listen in a bit more. You hear unfamiliar terms like water vapor, evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and run-off. You begin to feel anxious.
All these drops are discussing a trip through the water cycle, and you need to know what theyre talking about, so you can go too!

You realize that you obviously need to review your water cycle terms, or you will not be able to go on the big trip! So, like the resourceful drop you are, you go to your teacher for help.
As a review, she gives you a variety of water cycle activities to complete. The two of you work very hard to review the material.
Luckily, your teacher only wants one thing in return for her help! Upon returning from your water cycle trip, she would like you to share your experience with the other young water drops, so that they might someday take the water cycle journey as well.

Evaluation:Once you have finished learning about the water cycle and have completed a project to share with the little droplets, your teacher will use a rubric to score your project. Please print out the rubric, check your work carefully to make sure your project earns a good score.
Your rubric and project should be turned in to your teacher when you have compeleted your self-evaluation.

Now that I've learned all there is to know about the water cycle, and I've successfully completed my water cycle journey, I'm ready to take another trip! This time, I think I'll travel through the World of Weather!
