	The Internet Black American Challenge http://www.brightmoments.com/blackhistory/ This site interactive quiz that helps you sharpen your knowledge of African American History. It's an "open book" test. So if you're not sure of an answer, you can check our reference material for help. Level I is the easiest and has 7 questions while levels II & III have 10 questions each and are a bit more challenging.
	Stamp on Black History Quiz http://library.advanced.org/10320/quizmenu.htm This site contains an on-line version and a paper/pencil version of the quiz. The paper/pencil version could be considered an on-line scavenger hunt.
	Black History Quiz http://www.afroam.org/children/brain/historyquiz/q1.html Students are challenged to name 20 famous Black Americans by answering multiple choice questions. The answers are given in detailed format.

Black History Treasure Hunt http://www.education-world.com/a_lesson/lesson052.shtml This site contains four versions of a Internet Scavenger Hunt. The Hunts are divided into appropriate grade levels.

Other Lesson Ideas:

	Stamps in Black History: Game and Activity Zone http://library.advanced.org/10320/Games.htm This site has word searches, crossword puzzles, craft ideas, cooking projects, and etc.
	Black History Gazette As a team of two or three students have the class create newspapers (2 to 3 pages in length) denoting aspects of African American History. The newspaper can: 1. Focus on a certain area of African American History (sports, music, etc.) 2. Focus on an event in African American History (civil rights movement, anti-slavery, etc.) 3. Focus on a time period in African American History (60s, 90s, etc.)
	Ready, Set, Present Have your students create a hyperstack or powerpoint presentation depicting the life of a famous Black American. The students should reflect on the personal life of the individual and well as his/her life accomplishments.
	Mail It Have your students write a letter to the Postal Commissioner convincing him/her to honor a "certain" Black American on the "new" postage stamp and/or have your students design a "new" Black American postage stamp.
	A Mark in Time Have your students create a timeline representing the accomplishments of African American Americans and/or milestones in Black History.
