CATS Reports

The Commonwealth Accountability Testing System (CATS) is designed to improve teaching and student learning in Kentucky. CATS includes the Kentucky Core Content Test (KCCT), a nationally norm-referenced test, the CTBS/5 Survey Edition, writing portfolios and prompts and the alternate portfolio for students with severe to profound disabilities. The annual CATS Reports are now called Kentucky Performance Reports. Also available are CATS Briefing Packets which contain state testing results, interpretive materials and a summary of school and district performance. Additional information on CATS Testing and Reporting is available from KDE. .
